Scripture (1 Corinthians 13:13, NIV):
"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."
Devotional:
This world is loud with hate. You see it on the news, in politics, even in everyday conversations. People are quicker to tear down than to build up. But if the world is going to teach hate this loudly, then we as believers need to teach love even louder. Not a soft, shallow love — but the kind of love Jesus lived and died for.
The Bible says love is the greatest thing we can carry. Greater than talent. Greater than fame. Greater than money. Love has the power to change lives in a way hate never will. The enemy knows this, which is why he works so hard to twist love, silence truth, and keep people distracted with bitterness. But here's the thing: truth and love can't be silenced.
They thought they could kill the message by killing the messenger, but it only spreads further. We've seen it in history. We see it now. People who had never even heard of Charlie Kirk's name before are now listening to his words. That's what happens when you stand for truth — it outlives you.
Maybe you've been told you're not enough. Maybe the world has tried to make you feel small, worthless, or ignored. But when you know the love of Jesus, you know who you are. You know you're chosen, valuable, and deeply loved. Hate doesn't get the last word. Love does.
So, if the world shouts hate, then we shout love louder. Not because it's easy, but because it's necessary. Because somebody out there is waiting for hope. Somebody needs to know Jesus loves them today — and maybe that somebody is you.
Questions to Consider:
How can I love louder today than the hate I see around me?
Who in my life needs to be reminded of Jesus' love right now?
What would change in my walk with Christ if I decided to let love - not hurt or bitterness - lead me?
Prayer:
Lord, this world is noisy with hate, but I choose to be louder with love. Help me live out a love that reflects You — bold, fearless, and true. Remind me that Your love outlasts every lie, every attack, and every attempt to silence the truth. Let my words and actions today point people back to You, the One who is Love itself. Amen.
