Scripture (Matthew 6:1, NIV):

"Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."

Devotional:

Jesus didn't have to scream online, flex His miracles, or chase fame. He spoke, He healed, and He let the work of God speak for itself. Then He told people to go and share - not so He could be famous or have a ton of money, but so lives could be changed.

Too many today are shouting about Jesus for likes, for platforms, and for money - while sitting in big houses and fancy cars, instead of putting their blessings into Kingdom work. That's not what He called us to do as Christians.

Jesus doesn't need our noise - He wants our obedience. If He's really changed us, people will see it without us putting on a show.

Questions to Consider:

  1. Am I living for people's applause, or for God's approval?

  2. Do my actions with money and influence reflect obedience - or just image?

  3. How can I quietly reflect Jesus in a way that points others to Him without needing a spotlight?

Prayer:

Lord, keep my heart pure and my motives clean. Protect me from chasing attention instead of Your will. Teach me to use what You've given - time, voice, money, influence - for Your Kingdom, not for myself. May others see You in me without me having to shout. In Your Holy name, Amen.
